How we measure

As all of our pieces of clothes are of second hand we have our specific measurements. So you can check your the measures of your body. Bellow, you can understand how we measure our garments. Check the information bellow the image too.
- Our garments are measured laid down or flat on a table. Wrinkles could cause measurements to be higher than the actual size of the garment.
- Always use a flexible measuring tape. Using a ruler to measure garments makes it difficult to measure all angles.
- Get the most accurate measurement every time by rounding to the nearest centimeter.
- The measurements may not match the size indicated on the tag. Due to the second-hand nature of items, fit can vary after wear and washing.
- Measure twice! If you don’t get the same measurement both times try again.
- For chest width, we measure all the away around from the armpit seam to the opposite arm multiply by two (x2), so you need measure your chest around.
- For jackets, blazers and coats we measure from shoulder to shoulder. First of all we close the item and place the measuring tape at the corner of one shoulder and pull across to other shoulder.
- For the upper arm width, we place the measuring tape near the armpit and measure from one side of the seam to the other and multiply by two. If you're using your own jacket or blazer you can do the same thing, or measure around your arm to have the current measure.
- Length for jackets, dresses and tops is measured from the collar to the bottom of the piece. For skirts is obtained from the top of the waistline to the bottom of the hemline.
- For measuring the waist of skirts, pants and shorts first of all we button up. Then is measured from one side to the other and multiply by two (x2). For having the best of results take the measure around your waist.
- Hip for skirts and dresses. This measure is the widest part of the hip.
- Thigh is measured starting at the crotch seam and ending 3-5cm below the hip area.
- Front rise of pants and shorts measurement is starting from crotch seam spot to the spot of waistband.
- For measure inseam put the tape exactly where the front and back seams meet, measuring from the crotch until the hemline.
